BGMI Unban News: May return to India, KRAFTON Announcement BGMI Unban Date

BGMI Unban News: One of the most famous online BattleGrounds mobile game among the Indian public, but it was blocked by the Government of India on July 28, 2022. Fans are eagerly waiting for their favorite online game to be unbanned and back again in India but there is no positive development regarding the comeback.

In the recent press release, like any other quarterly report from KRAFTON, the release details the sales and growth of their various titles, as well as revenue, net profit, and operating profit. The press release reports that PUBG: Battlegrounds has performed exceptionally well in quarterly sales, indicating better prospects for the future.

Krafton’s report stated that PUBG Mobile’s in-game concert with BLACKPINK and its new map, NUSA’s release were among the highlights of Q3 2022.

The report mentioned targeting low-end smartphone users by providing a lightweight version of PUBG MOBILE LITE. More collaborations with various brands (supercars and soccer players) were also hinted at in the near future. Lastly, KRAFTON also addressed the absence of BGMI, the Indian version of PUBG.

While the publisher’s statement doesn’t assure BGMI’s return, the official word is enough to send a positive message to many Indian fans. However, despite the positive message, players should avoid falling prey to rumors like backlash, fake release dates, or fake download links.

On July 28, 2022, BGMI was banned by the Indian government, and Battlegrounds Mobile India was removed from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store and is still unavailable from the India-specific Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Therefore, fans should avoid downloading games from any unauthorized source, which may lead to in-game fans’ account suspension.

when the BGMI ban will end?

Unfortunately, KRAFTON has not provided any information regarding an official re-release/Unban date for BGMI, and the rumors, fake release dates, or fake download links are unfounded.

Reasons behind the ban of BGMI

Note: Battleground Mobile India (BGMI) has been banned by the Government of India under Section 69A of the IT Act. Players are not allowed to play the game in India as the game is banned by the Government of India.
