Chained Soldier Anime Reveals Trailer its first trailer ahead of its 2023 premiere. Studio Seven Arcs is animating the anime.

New information on the anime “Chained Soldier” was revealed on the stage of Jump Festa ’23. Yuya Hirose, Maaya Uchida, and Akari Kito will be on stage. Tomori Kusunoki, Ayaka Senbongi and Rina Hidaka are joining the cast, which also includes:

Junji Nishimura is the general director of the anime “Chained Soldier”, and Gorou Kuji is the director. Yasuhiro Nakanishi is in charge of series composition, and Hiroyuki Yoshi is in charge of character design. Akira Kindaichi and Ryota Kano are in charge of the script. Kohta Yamamoto is in charge of the music.

The opening theme will be performed by Akari Kito, and the ending theme will be performed by Maaya Uchida. An anime adaptation was announced in November last year, but not much has been revealed other than cast and staff information and some character visuals.

Chained Soldier is based on the manga series written by Takahiro (Akame ga Kill) and drawn by Yohei Takemura. Yen Press publishes the manga in English and describes the plot as follows. The manga has been released on Shueisha’s Shōnen Jump+ online platform since January 2019 and has already been published in 11 volumes and 86 chapters. Volume 12 of the series will be released in Japan on January 4, 2023. Yen Press, a US-based publisher, will license the English version of the series in 2022, and after which his first two volumes will be published and the next set will be published. the next set scheduled for release in the United States on February 21, 2023.

Decades ago, gates to an otherworldly and dangerous dimension known as Mato—the “Demon City”—appeared across Japan. Those who partook in the “peaches” growing there gained unique abilities—but only if they’re girls. When down-in-the-dumps high school boy Yuuki Wakura finds himself caught up in a gate, he’s saved by Kyouka Uzen, the beautiful commander of the 7th squad of the Demon Defense Force, who…orders him to become her slave?!

When entrances to a different dimension known as the “Mato” emerge all over Japan, a new resource known as “Peaches” are discovered which give unique abilities only to women. However, dangerous monsters called “Yomotsu Shuuki” also roam throughout the Mato and have been responsible for various disasters ever since. To combat them, the government formed the Anti-demon Corps, an elite group of women who have received power from the Peaches.

One day, a high school student named Yuuki Wakura was walking home from school when he suddenly got lost in a Mato entrance. When he calls for help, he is immediately rescued by Kyouka Uzen, the chief of the Seventh Unit of the Anti-demon Corps. Recognizing his potential while also needing him to make her Peach power more effective, she asks that Yuuki join the Anti-demon Corps by becoming her slave, a position he might find more enjoyable than he initially would have thought…
