Made In Abyss: Retsujitsu No Ougonkyou Cast and Theme Songs

Made In Abyss: Retsujitsu No Ougonkyou

The second season of Made in Abyss, Retsujitsu no Ougonkyou, premieres a new trailer with details of its cast and production team.

As announced some time ago, this week there was a broadcast to reveal information about the second season of Made in Abyss, known as Retsujitsu no Ougonkyou. In English this new wave of episodes will be known as The Golden City of the Scorching Sun. Unlike the first trailer released, which featured a whole new set of characters, the one shared this Thursday features Rico and company.

That’s why it’s titled Rico’s party side. There Riko, Reg and Nanachi can be seen interacting with a large number of creatures. In the video you can hear the opening theme of the new season. This is called Katachi and is sung by Riko Azuna. Although not heard in the preview, it was revealed that the ending song is called Endless Embrace and is performed by MYTH&ROID. Other details revealed have to do with the cast.

Made In Abyss: Retsujitsu No Ougonkyou Cast Details

The already well-known actors and actresses are joined by Hiroki Gotō, who lends his voice to Majikaja, while Kana Ichinose does the same for Maaa, and Kimiko Saitō as Muugi. Ryota Takeuchi, on her side, plays Gaburoon. Other seiyuu returning in Made in Abyss: Retsujitsu no Ougonkyou are Natsuko Hara, Inori Minase, and Toshiyuki Morikawa. The aforementioned play Meinya, Prushka and Bondrewd, respectively. They are joined by the main cast.

This is how Miyu Tomita returns in the role of Riko, Mariya Ise is behind Reg and Shiori Izawa has the role of Nanachi. Misaki Kuno serves as Faputa, who appears in the new trailer. In addition to those mentioned above are Yuka Terasaki as Vueko, Hiroaki Hirata as Wazukyan, and Mitsuki Saiga as Belaf. Regarding the production team there are not many changes. Masayuki Kojima retains his position as director.

He is supported by the assistant director Hitoshi Haga and in the management of the scripts is Hideyuki Kurata. As for character designs, it is managed by Kazuchika Kise of Production I.G and Kevin Penkin participates in the music again. It should be noted that Kise is backed by Yuka Kuroda as the second character designer. Made in Abyss: Retsujitsu no Ougonkyou will arrive in July as a summer 2022 anime season premiere.

I hope things go well with this new wave of episodes. At least the entire original Kinema Citrus production team is back, not like in the case of Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari 2, which had a “slump” in quality. Thanks to Anime News Network for the report.
