What happened in the previous episode of Oshi no Ko?
As Akane is about to jump off the bridge when Aqua arrives, Mem gets a call that Akane has run away from home in the storm. Kana and Ruby also knew that Akane was being lynched because of her actions on television.
Then they discussed the industry’s dark side, in which many performers commit themselves because they can’t deal with the internet hostility and believe their lives are over after one such occurrence. The actors of the show approached Akane at the police station after she refused to speak to anybody about how she felt about the event.
She was then advised to withdraw from the performance in order to avoid aggravating her issue. Aqua then worked with the other cast member to develop a showreel of Akane showcasing her best qualities. The reel was an instant hit, and it saved Akane’s lost image to some extent.
