Dark Horse Comics will tell the events after Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
Yesterday was a tremendous day for Ghostbusters fans, as Ghost Corps, in charge of this universe, announced multiple projects on Ghostbusters Day, the first of which was an animated series with Netflix, the first details of the sequel to Afterlife, a film animated, and now, a comic that will unite the events of Afterlife and its sequel.
The comic will be published by Dark Horse Comics, chronicling what happened after the events of Afterlife and eventually linking it with Firehouse, the code name for its sequel. Gil Kenan, co-writer of the film with Jason Reitman, commented:
Between games, comics, TV, and film, we’re going to present the untold story of Ghostbusters, while reaching into the future with characters you haven’t yet met from places you haven’t been.
Let’s remember that Dark Horse has published multiple comics of the franchise, including maintaining a multiverse that came together in Crossing Over, where we saw all possible versions of these heroes interact in a tremendous adventure.
