The show is indeed among the top funny animes; however, not everyone enjoys it but can raise a laugh for every single episode without doubt. We would be glad to help clarify this for those of you who have loved the Anime wholeheartedly and still don’t understand why there is no second season up to now!
You would think that no other episode from this light hearted anime with minimalist style of animation could have any chance to touch anyone’s funny bone given Nichijou’s popularity. Therefore, let’s quickly discuss whether there is any chance of getting another season of Nichijou; if yes-its release date, trailer, and other details.

Nichijou Season 2: What to Expect?
The first Season has concentrated on Mio, Yuuko, and Mai as their stories are slowly entangled into the life of the young scientific genius, Hakase Yasuna Shinonome and her assistant nanobot Nano. The narrative has moved gradually with no significant changes since the series took off and hence, it is reasonable to expect a sequel that will exhibit the same rhythm.
The second season was bound to follow suit and focus even further on a combination of the original crew but with more specific focus given to the main trio given that Nano had hitherto been the central character for the first ever season. In this case, one would hardly be able to predict the course of the narration about Nichijou as it relies largely only on the incidents of the day.
Nichijou Season 2: Release Date
So far, no word has come out that Kyoto Animation and Kadokawa’s Nichijou anime will get another season. But since the author is now occupied with the manga and some short anime clips this could happen very fast – just announce the release date.
Will There be Nichijou Season 2?
Whether an anime gets a second season is mainly based on three factors: popularity, previous records, and Source Material.
Popularity: In fact, there is no doubt that Nichej you is among the most popular anime programs and it’s often suggested as hysterical.
Past Performance: The past performance is counted in terms of the number of sales and streaming the anime so far. We do not have exact figures since sales differ every year but Nichijou had great achievement in selling manga that generated much wealth.
Source Material: In other words, source material describes a content that the anime has been based on; for instance, Nichijou’s sources are the manga. Even then, all of this was represented in the earlier “manga”, covering it volume in the whole six volumes, which, however, let make “at least a season”.
Therefore, this means that Nichijou is likely going to make its second season though not immediately.
Is Nichijou Anime Finished?
No. There is a distinct end for a comedy anime except when it closely follows linear story-lines and that is why in contrast of most comedies which have an ending, Nichijou does not have any since several chapters from the manga are adapted. Therefore, it means more is expected of the anime in the coming days.
Is Nichijou Manga Still Ongoing?
Actually, it must be mentioned that Keiichi has intention to continue making the readers of this manga laugh and therefore works out on the new episodes to come. Currently has 192 episodes and can go even further up.

To read the manga from where the anime ends, begin with volume 7, chapter 125. However, this anime has adapted much of the manga out of its original form that we advise you to start reading from the first chapter in order to have the most appropriate experience.
