A leak in the upcoming issue of Weekly Shonen Magazine confirmed that the second season of the Tokyo Revengers anime, which will be titled Tokyo Revengers: Seiya Kessen-hen (Tokyo Revengers: Christmas Showdown), will premiere in January 2023 on Japan.
The leak also confirmed that production on the sequel remains the responsibility of studio LIDEN FILMS and the team remains “almost unchanged”.
The first promotional image for the second season was also released on the franchise’s official website.

It was also revealed that voice actor Masaya Fukunishi will voice the character Ken “Draken” Ryuuguuji, following the departure of voice actor Tatsuhisa Suzuki.
The anime’s first season premiered in Japan during the Spring 2021 season (April~June) and featured a total of 24 episodes.
Author Wakui began publishing the manga in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen magazine in March 2017. The publisher published the twenty-first compiled volume in February 2021, followed by the twenty-second in April 2021 in Japan.
Tokyo Revengers Synopsis
Takemichi Hanagaki is an unemployed man who survives on odd jobs and is in the pit. He found out that Hinata Tachibana, his first and last girlfriend, whom he dated in elementary school, was killed by the ruthless Manji Gang of Tokyo. The day after the news, he is on the edge of the train platform and is pushed around by the crowd. He closes his eyes preparing to die, but upon opening, he has gone back in time to when he was 12 years old. Now that he is at the best time of his life, Takemichi decides to take revenge on his life by saving his girlfriend and stopping running away from himself.
