Gol D. Roger – One Piece
Gol D. Roger is probably one of the strongest characters in One Piece history. He was able to fly Kozuki Oden, then competed against Whitebeard in equal strength. Whitebeard was once called the strongest man in the world. Whitebeard who fought with such Roger, is also an excellent Whitebeard!
However, Whitebeard died at 72, and Roger at 53. The cause is illness. Roger had been plagued by an illness on his last trip to Laugh Tale, and he had been aware of Roger’s condition ever since he fought Shiki in the Battle of Edd War.
When Roger surrendered to the Marines, he was already dying.

All Might – My Hero Academia
Toshinori Yagi, aka All Might, Superman from My Hero Academia. Not only is he the ideal hero, but All Might’s mere presence is able to give hope and inspire hope to commoners and fellow heroes.
The problem is that All Might struggled to maintain his superhero form for long periods of time after dueling All For One in the past. His strength was weaker than before the duel. The cause was a serious injury suffered by All for One.
After fighting All For One again, All Might can’t even use his powers for now. As such, he is stuck in a normal state with various health problems.
Kimimaro – Naruto
Kimimaro is arguably the strongest of the Sound Four. The thing is, this one man of his is also sickly.
When awakened by Kabuto, there was a great risk that Kimimaro would end up dying precisely from his illness, not from the enemy. Sure enough, Kimimaro was able to put up an exceptional fight against Gaara and Rock Lee. Gaara in particular is a very tough shinobi.
In the end, the cause of Kinmaro’s death was not the efforts of Gaara or Lee, but his own illness that took Kinmaro’s life.

Itachi Uchiha – Naruto
Itachi may be one of the strongest characters in Naruto’s history. Unfortunately, he has long been haunted by a fatal illness which ensures he will not live to old age. He had to take regular medicine to survive until it was time for Sasuke to fight him.
The thing is, this disease seems to affect Itachi’s stamina. If he don’t stop fighting as soon as possible, the disease will start to affect his body.
Juushiro Ukitake – Bleach
The captain of Bleach is one of the ones with the greatest potential for power. Unfortunately, Ukitake has been plagued with illness since childhood. This great power seemed to be put to good use to ensure that he remained alive.
Izumi Curtis – Fullmetal Alchemist
If we talk about human alchemists, Izumi Curtis is one of the strongest FMA. In fact, she still feels stronger than his two students, Edward and Al.

Shishio Makoto – Rurouni Kenshin
Shishio actually surpassed Kenshin in combat prowess and toughness. The main reason is that Shishio succeeded in giving Kenshin the time and energy to fight his subordinates before the duel.
The problem is that Shishio’s body becomes abnormal because he got burned first. If he fights too much, he gets burned. As expected, Shishio was burned to death in the middle of his duel with Kenshin.
