Arifureta 2’s New OVA Has Release Date, Trailer And New Details

There’s a second teaser for Sekai Saikyou’s new season 2 Arifureta Shokugyou OVA, in addition to a poster and more.

Although when the second season of Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou ended, a third was not announced, it was clear that something more could be expected and in the form of a new OVA. Since then the information has not been very abundant, but that changed on Thursday night. Through the anime website and social networks, not only a new poster was published, but also a second teaser, and incidentally, some additional details.

As planned, this additional episode will be available on September 25 in Japan. It will be included in a special edition of the thirteenth volume of the light novel. It was also revealed that it will be longer than expected at around 40 minutes. It’s almost like it’s the equivalent of two episodes minus a few minutes. Perhaps asread and Studio Mother need more time to tell this story.

To promote this OVA of the second season of Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou will have a preview in select theaters in the Land of the Rising Sun. It will be from September 10. I think this is a sign that this new animation is somewhat more serious than the one published a few months ago and that it was for laughs. That is, it did not show anything relevant about the plot and nothing else was designed to amuse anime fans.

According to the description on the website, this additional episode has to do with the search for Myu, the visit of Hajime Nagumo and his friends to an abandoned city and the encounter with a huge creature. The video that accompanies this note allows us to appreciate part of what was mentioned before. At least it’s a lot better than the one released at the end of last March, which was merely some static images and some music to go with it.

The name of this OVA of the second season of Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou is Phantom Adventure and Miraculous Encounter. Is it just one story or two that are included? We will have to wait to see what it includes. What is certain is that the second installment of the anime left more satisfied fans of the series than the first. The new episodes have improved a lot.
