The 30 Years issue of Shogakukan Big Comic Spirits magazine revealed on 27 June 2022 that Chi. Chikyuu No Undou Ni Tsuite (Chi. About the Movement of the Earth) manga is inspiring for Madhouse to turn it into an anime.

Uoto launched the manga in September 2020 in Big Comic Spirits magazine and ended it on 25 April. Shogakukan will publish the manga eighth and final volume on Thursday.
The manga won the grand prize for the 26th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Awards in April. Uoto was the youngest person to win the Grand Prize at the age of 24.
