Kakegurui Twin Netflix Anime Reveals Premiere Date, New Trailer and Voice Cast

Kakegurui Twin Release Date

The Kakegurui Twin anime, the prequel to the original, gets its first trailer, it has a release date and extra details.

Before Yumeko Jabami entered the scene in Kakegurui there was a story that needed to be told and that is that of her partner Mary Saotome. Well, that will be through Kakegurui Twin, a series by Homura Kawamoto and Kei Saiki whose anime was announced in November of last year and which now has a release date. That was what the first trailer released this weekend revealed as well as the poster shared by Netflix Anime on Twitter.

When will Kakegurui Twin Release?

Kakegurui Twin’s release date is August 4th, so it will be part of the 2022 summer anime season. A bit of a late release considering most summer releases come in July, but anyway applies. Netflix also has an early release, Spriggan’s, which will be at the end of June. As expected, the premiere will be simultaneous in all regions.

Something that can be heard in the trailer is the opening theme, Queens Bluff (Farol de Reinas) which is sung by the group i☆Ris. As for the cast of actors and actresses, Minami Tanaka returns to play Mary Saotome. Rina Honnizumi plays Tsuzura Hanatemari, who alongside Saotome is one of the main characters in the series. She doesn’t leave the impression of someone like Jabami but it looks like she’ll be a lot of fun.
