Since it was first announced in October 2021 as part of the 50th-anniversary celebrations of the Kamen Rider franchise.

Finally, the official release date of the Kamen Rider W (Fuuto Pi) anime has been confirmed. The 11th driver plan of the Heisei era will be released on August 1, 2022.

The announcement of the release date coincided with a new trailer. Where in the trailer the opening song titled “Tsumi to Batsu to Underground” will be performed by the cast of Kamen Rider Eternal in the Kamen Rider W series, Mitsuru Matsuoka.

The first season of this anime will have 12 episodes. The plan is that Kamen Rider W (FUUTO Pi) will be broadcast on the Muse Asia YouTube channel.

This animated version itself is an adaptation of the comic version of Kamen Rider W whose official title is “Fuuto Tantei” by Riku Sanjo and Masaki Sato. The manga has had 10 volumes since its first release in 2017.

The Kamen Rider FUUTO PI series itself is said to be a big step forward for the Tokusatsu world, as it will be the first animated series of Kamen Rider and the initial debut of the Kamen Rider series to be distributed worldwide. The series itself will air under the auspices of Funimation.
