Ahead of the premiere of the Isekai Ojisan (Uncle From Another World) anime, it is revealed how long this new Netflix exclusive will last.
One of the exclusive animes that will debut in the summer 2022 season on Netflix is that of Isekai Ojisan, which in English has the title of Uncle From Another World. This series will premiere in Japan on July 6th and precisely on that day it will arrive on this video-on-demand platform. It is unknown if everything will arrive that day in its catalog or if it will actually be one episode a week.

It might be in the style of Komi-san wa, Komyushō Desu, whose episodes come out weekly. But what is this story about? It is assumed that 17 years earlier, Takafumi’s uncle fell into a coma. Now he has come back to life as if he had risen from the grave. However, there is something strange about him. Above all, he values video games above all else. And while he was in a coma… he was transported to another world as a guardian!
In Isekai Ojisan, poor Takafumi must share his room with a guy who is literally magical and at the same time very backward in terms of technology. He really doesn’t know how to deal with smartphones, high speed internet, the latest anime clichés… and the aftermath of the 90’s console wars! Isekai Ojisan Cast
Among them the cast of actors and actresses. Takehito Koyasu plays Ojisan, Jun Fukuyama plays Takafumi, and Mikako Komatsu is behind Fujimiya. Also participating are Haruka Tomatsu, who plays Elf, as well as Aoi Yūki with the role of Mabel and Aki Toyosaki is Alicia. Other seiyuus are Kenichi Suzumura, responsible for Edger, Nobuhiko Okamoto for Raiga and Hisako Kanemoto for Sawae. And the production team?
Isekai Ojisan Anime Trailer
Shigeki Kawai directs Isekai Ojisan at Atelier Pontdarc. Kenta Ihara of Shinchou Yuusha, Youjo Senki, and Mieruko-chan writes the scripts and supervises them. Kazuhiro Ota from Natsu no Arashi!, Negima! and Pani Pony Dash! design the characters. Mayu Maeshima performs the opening theme, story, and Yuka Iguchi performs the ending theme, Ichibanboshi Sonority. Regarding the length of the anime, it will have three Blu-ray and DVD volumes.
Kaguya-sama: Love Is War Will Have New Anime
