Amazon Prime Video adds the highly anticipated fantasy action series Island to its K-Drama collection. The show will debut in December in 240 countries outside Korea on Prime Video and will launch at home on CJ ENM’s local streamer TV.
Island Korean Drama is a fantasy action series by Yoon In-wan and Yang Kyung-il based on the popular comic/webtoon of the same name. Set in tropical Jeju Island, a southern country in South Korea, it follows the journey of characters who fight against evil forces trying to destroy the world. Showcasing the natural beauty of the island, the show is based on the traditional legends and folktales of Jeju.
