After an amazing appearance in the second season of Demon Slayer, will Tengen Uzui return in the future?
The highlight of Demon Slayer Season 2 was Tengen Uzui, Hashira Tengen Uzui nearly died at the end of the arc after an intense battle against Daki and Gyutaro. After all the events of the Entertainment District arc, he decides to retire from the Demon Slayer Corps and live with his three wives. So we’ll never see him again?

Tengen returns in Chapter 132 during Hashira’s training arc. But he returns not to help in the fight, but to train the demon slayers, specifically, Tanjiro, who spends the day being guided by Hashira do Som. After that, he makes another appearance at the end of the manga.
So the good news for Tengen Uzui fans is that he will appear twice in the story; however, we will never see him fighting demons again.
In the manga’s final battle, several characters die, and most of Hashira does not survive, with Tsunami Shinazugawa and Giyu Tomioka being the only victims. Tanjiro is seriously injured but recovers. During his recovery, Tengen Uzui visits the hero, who marks his final appearance.
Why did Tengen Uzui retire?
Tengen Uzui was seriously wounded in a fight against Upper Moon 6 Gyutaro and Daki. After nearly losing his life and putting his wives in danger, he decided to end the fight.
