A publication on Facebook by the medium “ACGer” became a trend after sharing some photos of the twenty-seventh edition of the anime, manga and doujinshi convention, “Rainbow Gala”, which has been held in Hong Kong since 2007. The post in question features a man, woman, and girl cosplaying the Forger Family (Loid, Yor, and Anya) from the SPY x FAMILY franchise.
Some claim that it is a family, but in reality there is no confirmation of this, since they could be a group of brothers or have another type of relationship with each other. Later this publication would also reach Twitter from the hand of “Mika (@mika60)“, who would republish the photographs with the caption: “My God, this cosplay of the Forger family at the doujinshi Rainbow Gala 27 event in Hong Kong is too wonderful.” In this regard, it should be noted that cosplaying Anya Forger is very difficult to please fans, especially since she is described as having a very short stature.
The first part of the anime adaptation of SPY x FAMILY, which covers the first twelve episodes, has been broadcast since April 9 in Japan, while the Crunchyroll platform is responsible for its distribution in the West. Twilight, or “Loid Forger”, quickly adopts humble orphan Anya to play the role of a six-year-old daughter and prospective Eden Academy student. As a wife, she meets Yor Briar, an absent-minded office worker who needs a fake partner to impress her friends. However, Loid is not the only one with a hidden nature. Yor is actually the deadly assassin “Thorn Princess” and for her, marrying Loid creates the perfect cover. Meanwhile, Anya is not the ordinary girl that she appears to be; she is an esper, the product of secret experiments that allow her to read minds. Although she discovers her true identities, Anya is thrilled that her new parents are cool secret agents! She would never tell them, of course. That would spoil the fun.
