On the official website of the Kaguya-sama: Love is War anime, which is an adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Akasaka, it was announced that the twelfth and final episode of the series’ third season, which is titled Kaguya-sama: Love is War – Ultra Romantic, will last one hour (including commercials).

A new promotional image for this third season of the series was also released, which includes the following message: “Farewell, romantic comedy.”
This third season has been on the air since April 8, 2022 and is distributed in the West by Crunchyroll platform.
The author, Akasaka, began publishing the manga in Shueisha’s Miracle Jump magazine in May 2015, later switched to Weekly Young Jump magazine in 2016. Recently the manga has entered the last arc of its story.
The first season of the anime adaptation had 12 episodes and premiered in January 2019, while the second season, which also had 12 episodes, premiered in April 2020.

Kaguya-sama: Love is War Synopsis
Considered a genius for having the highest grades in the country, Miyuki Shirogane is the student council president of the prestigious Shuchiin School, working alongside the beautiful and wealthy vice president Kaguya Shinomiya. The two are regarded as the perfect couple among Shuchiin students, despite the fact that they are not in a romantic relationship.
However, after spending so much time together, the two ended up falling in love. Unfortunately, neither of them is willing to admit their feelings and confess to the other. Since they both see it as a sign of weakness. Clinging to pride and turning love into a battleground, the two dedicate themselves to devising strategies to get the other to confess their love first.
